Nigeria total expenditure in 2019 stood at N9.71 trillion comprising of N6.99 trillion recurrent expenditure and N2.29 trillion capital expenditure. The total expenditure increased by 24.3% in 2019 compared to N7.81 trillion expended in 2018 and 50.46% compared to N6.46 trillion in 2017.
Recurrent expenditure increased by 23.3% from N5.68 trillion in 2018 to N6.99 trillion in 2019 while capital expenditure grew by 36.1% from N1.68 trillion to N2.29 trillion in 2019.
